WALPOLE, Mass., June 28, 2018 - The Alzheimer’s Association honors summer solstice as The Longest Day, an initiative aimed at bringing awareness to Alzheimer’s disease by acknowledging that for those affected by dementia time passes differently.
New Pond Village, a Walpole-based retirement community and the only memory care center in Walpole, paid tribute to The Longest Day with a day of laughter. Activities included those with smiles and laughter in mind. Residents enjoyed a summer kickoff complete with lawn games and music.
